Barry Wolfe Crit
Not much to talk about .. woke up early and drove to “the Valley” … warmed up on the rollers …. raced for 30 minutes and got somewhere in the top ten .. drove home.
Crits are kinda boring. Why am doing these again? Oh yeah.. need the races to upgrade. 4 more to go.
EDIT: Power meter readings for crits are absolutely crazy! Being a very “steady state” type of rider, i suppose the sprint-coast-sprint stochastic type riding is good for me.

Oooh, stochastic. That has to be what, 12 points? :p
Did you attack around 0:48?
Yeah – I was solo, bridging a gap for about a lap. Definitely the hardest effort i put in all race but its hard to tell from the graph. It was weird how stable my power was, and how few peaks i hit during that time. I guess my crazy on/off pattern on the other laps just shows how much i need to learn about racing crits!
It makes sense… when I first started looking at my power data I was looking for higher power efforts where I attacked or was off the front or whatever until I realized to look for consistent efforts. When you are in the pack it’s all on/off but when you are by yourself the highs often aren’t as high but the lows don’t go to zero
